EDITOR'S NOTES
The hut called Rifugio Nuvolau founded in 1883 is one of the oldest ones in all of the Dolimites.
The family hike took 2.5 hrs at a leisurely pace to get to the top. One the climbers we noticed an elderly couple climbing down the mountain looking in better shape than most 20 year olds. I think there is truth to the merits of mountain air. |
